The first week with tape-ins

Adhesive reaches full strength around 48 hours after fitting. Keep the hair dry for the first two days and the set will hold weeks longer.

Wash downward, never in circles, and keep conditioner away from the tape line. Oil-heavy masks are the single most common reason tapes slip early.

Brush from the ends up with a looped brush, twice a day. Two minutes of brushing prevents the matting that most people blame on the hair itself.

Sleep with hair dry and loosely braided. A silk pillowcase is not marketing — it genuinely halves the friction.
